Anyone can now easily start and grow a private Wetpaint Wiki Website with as few (or many) people as they wish to invite

Private Wetpaint Wikis are invitation-only online communities viewable and editable only by people their creators invite. Once users have access to the private Wetpaint Wiki, they can easily communicate, collaborate, interact, and share information, music, videos, calendars, polls, files, and more with other members. Private Wetpaint Wikis are ideal for families, class projects, and clubs who want to build collaborative Websites that offer their community the best of social networking, blogs and Web publishing.

Establishing a free private Wetpaint Wiki is an easy election available to site creators during the Wiki setup process at http://www.wetpaint.com/wiki. When asked “Who can view your Wetpaint Wiki?” creators simply select the “Invited members” option. Existing public Wetpaint Wikis can easily be converted to private Wikis by changing the permissions scheme in the site settings area.

In addition to free private Wetpaint Wikis, Wetpaint is also announcing the availability of YouTube Video and Yahoo! Images search services, which aid users in easily finding and uploading videos and images without having to leave their Wetpaint Wiki. Wetpaint also launched a unique Top Contributor avatar cloud. Similar to more traditional keyword tag clouds, the Top Contributor cloud displays the profile photos of users who are making contributions to the site.
