Wetpaint and TG Publishing to Create Wiki 'Content Community' Sites for Tom's Hardware Guide and Other Technology Titles

September 20, 2006 -- Wetpaint (http://www.wetpaint.com) and TG Publishing (http://tgpublishing.net) today announced they have signed an agreement to create a series of community sites powered by Wetpaint for the 10 million monthly unique visitors of TG Publishing's successful technology properties, including Tom's Hardware Guide, TG Daily and TwitchGuru. The first site to launch in beta is Twitch Wiki, (http://www.twitchwiki.com), a companion to TwitchGuru (http://www.twitchguru.com), the TG Publishing site that focuses on gaming, movies and other aspects of digital culture. Additional sites will be rolled out over the next few months.

"We have such a knowledgeable community of readers," explained Omid Rahmat, chief executive officer at TG Publishing. "Creating these sites will give them a valuable outlet to express themselves, to provide valuable information, and connect with other followers of our sites. We're really excited about the contributions they will make to the sites and the impact this will have on our business." "The TG Publishing reader is one of the most technically savvy audiences online," said Ben Elowitz, chief executive officer of Wetpaint. "We're really excited TG Publishing selected Wetpaint based not only on our technology but its ease-of-use and ability to build valuable online communities."

The Wetpaint platform combines the best of elements of wikis, blogs, and social networks and makes it easy for anyone to add or edit content on a web site. In addition to working with companies such as TG Publishing to build online communities, Wetpaint also lets anyone start their own free Wetpaint site in three easy steps by visiting http://www.wetpaint.com/cyo.
